Kari joined Kirven Law, LLC in the Spring of 2021 as a paralegal and has been a great addition to our team!
Originally from Virginia, Kari Nelson grew up in Sheridan County, Wyoming. After high school, Kari moved to Colorado where she enjoyed skiing and exploring the mountains. After spending nearly a decade in Colorado, Kari moved back to Sheridan County where she and her son now reside.
Kari obtained a Bachelor‘s Degree in Legal Support and Services/ Paralegal with a concentration in Child and Family Services from Purdue University Global in 2021. Kari also holds a credential in Human Resources from Purdue University Global. Additionally, she holds a Certificate in Sustainable Earth from Arizona State University and other various certificates. Kari has experience working with clients in various aspects of the legal system including criminal and domestic relations issues.
Kari serves as the Vice President of the Sheridan County Junior Congressional Association, the Jaycees. In 2020 she was awarded Project of the Year for her Seedling Kit project. This provided elementary-aged children with seedling kits to grow vegetable seedlings which were then planted into school gardens. She also chairs her favorite event every year, the Kindness Rally.
When Kari is not working, she is out with her family enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery or traveling across the country to sightsee.
