Tonia L. Klepperich is a Sheridan native. Tonia graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2015. Tonia graduated from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law with her Juris Doctorate degree in May 2020. Based in St. Paul, Minnesota, Mitchell Hamline is the first law school of its kind, offering the first hybrid law program accredited by the American Bar Association.
Over the past ten years, Tonia has gained experience in different areas of the legal system. She spent approximately five years working for the Wyoming Department of Transportation where she issued citations, conducted safety inspections, and appeared in Court involving Commercial Driving violations. Tonia also spent approximately five years working for the City of Sheridan as the Clerk of Municipal Court where she assisted the Municipal Court Judge and Prosecutor in preparing and managing the Court docket. Before making the move to Kirven Law, LLC, Tonia was a legal assistant at a local law firm.
Because Tonia’s law school was a hybrid program, she has had the unique ability to gain first-hand experience in the legal field in Sheridan, Wyoming, where she would like to stay and continue contributing to the community by way of providing legal services. Tonia focuses her practice primarily on Trusts & Estates, Property, Contracts, and Bankruptcy Law. However, Tonia also assists Stacy with the Assistant Deputy Public Defender position with the Wyoming Office of the Public Defender. Additionally, Tonia accepts court appointments for juvenile matters such as Children in Need of Supervision and Neglect Petitions where the parents or children cannot afford representation.
When Tonia is not in the office she spends her time enjoying the Wyoming outdoors with her family.
